Thubelihle Graduate Institute

(South Africa)

Thubelihle Graduate Institute (TGI) is a private FET College, which was conceived as a vehicle to focus on producing graduates who are able to meet the needs of the modern day employer. It focuses on creating entrepreneurs who are able to focus on self employment and thus be able to be relevant in an ever changing economy. It is a further education and training college which was created out of a need for transformation in the working environments of both the public and private sector. Our primary objective is to nurture and harness the entrepreneurial flair, talent and network of individuals into the mainstream of the organisations where these qualities can be fully utilised within the economy.
We also seek to provide experienced professionals opportunities to express their skills adequately in their respective fields and thus enhancing the socio-economic factors of their communities in particular and their country in general

Thubelihle Graduate Institute positions its services by adding value to consumers in every way in order to ensure customer satisfaction and value for money. The further education and training college constantly addresses customer needs as success depends on gaining customer commitment and the best way to achieve that is to genuinely serve the needs and to solve the problems they have.

Our services are positioned according to the needs and preferences of our clients or customers in relation to their functional core i.e. the features of the service, which actually deliver its functional benefit.

The formation of Thubelihle Graduate Institute is inspired by a need for realism in community development and involving them in promoting their own skills through Community capacity building in various skills such as occupational learning system in welding and boilermaking, agriculture production techniques, processing and packaging technologies, business management, financial bookkeeping, and leadership training skills and health life styles and our aim is to examine how we can involve young people and women by empowering them to actively participate in all aspects of our programmes.
Our development activities are essentially proactive in nature and the aim is to develop young people and women as a social resource and in their own right as people. We aim to engage young people and women in practical action in the agricultural field.
