The school borrows certain characteristics of the Danish education system, e.g. there is absolutely no discrimination on the basis of race, religion or gender and children with special needs are integrated into the general school population if at all possible. There is a strong work ethic, sense of self discipline and awareness of social responsibility. Children remain with the same teacher for more than one year, and in one school up to matriculation. In all other aspects, the school is proudly South African.
