Mamelodi Walkathon 2010

Jim and Alex Tobergta, a father and son team are walking 30 miles to raise money for the trip to Mamelodi Township, Pretoria, South Africa. That’s the whole 30 miles in one day. The trip starts at 7am Sunday, January 31st and completed the walk just after 7 p.m.

According to wlwt.com, the team was able to raise more than $2,000 and have until March 1 to raise $9,000. The Mamelodi mission trip will run from March 25 to April 10. And the purpose will be helping build houses and provide aid to the township.
