Sculpture Park/Imagine Café :
The Anton Smit Sculpture Park’s three-hectare grounds are situated on the northern side of the Bronkhorstspruit Dam, on a plateau overlooking the water. Amongst the backdrop of natural stone formations, the manicured lawns and succulent gardens, the Park is a lovely environment to view the expansive collection of Anton Smit’s monumental sculptures and installations. The Park is a destination of creativity attracting tourists and art buyers, and includes Image Café, a full service coffee shop open daily Tuesday through Sunday, 10am to 4pm. The Park expands the traditional concept of an art venue, ensuring a truly unique and inspiring experience. Located only 40 minutes from Pretoria and 60 minutes from Johannesburg.

Imagine that!!!!

No! I could NEVER imagine a place like this!! I wish I could meet Anton himself, his art is simply incredible. The place is MAGIC - you have to watch yourself, because you WILL suffer from sensory overload! Even now, 8 hours later, my brain is still trying to 'compute' all the images that it had to process today. The art is... I have no words to describe it. You have to see for yourself, and then you'll also find that you have no words. The restaurant (THEY CALL IT A CAFE, I CALL IT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE)is like nothing you've ever experienced before. This place is great!!!! It's beyond words. All I can say is that for a little magic time, you enter "another world". I felt like Alice in Wonderland. I still do.
