Sunnyside City Vibe

Hi All.
I lived in Pretoria all my life but never really experienced Sunnyside because it was branded the "crime infested" area in Pretoria. That's until I had friends in Sunnyside, it started being THE cool hangout spot for me.

I moved to Centurion because of work, but would end up in Sunnyside every weekend. I have since moved to Joburg and miss Sunnyside soooo much.
The place never sleeps, shops are open till very late and I can decide to go get my hair done after 20:00 at night!
It's got such a cool city vibe, I'm loving it!

Sunnyside has that effect on those who try it. It makes people feel like they live on the edge. Being in Sunnyside itself is not scary but to those who never go, it feels suicidal. I still wonder if the "crime" issue is not a perception in comparison to crime elsewhere in Pretoria. I think I should try to get the statistics.
