South African Air Force Museum: The SAAF Museum in Pretoria, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth

The establishment of the South African Air Force Museum was approved by the Minister of Defence in 1973. The museum is an air force “story in print and objects”. The military history is captured in the collection, restoration and preservation of military records and culture.

If you have an interest in the military aviation, visit the SA Air Force Museum with your children. You will gain unimaginable knowledge on the history and developments in the South African Air Force. Whilst at the learning mood, get to view old aircrafts, uniforms, missiles, aeronautical displays and paintings.

That way you will be informed and involved in the developments of this lovely project. You will also be part of the team that restores and exhibits Aircrafts, participates in Air shows and plans the development and growth of the museum.
