I saw a few complaints of Rouelle Ovens on Google. I use a Rouelle Oven myself and must say, this is the best collection to my kitchen. For the last year I have not switched my stove on and my electricity bill was really reduced by about 80%. I lost 25Kg in 6 months just by eating healthy. The whole family is using the oven and I would contact my supplier Mientjie 083 499 4436 immediatly if any should go wrong. I have received excellent backup service from her at Rouelle - Petoria and will do business with them any time.
So stop complaining and learn how to use your oven.

Yes Charmain, I fully agree. I am addicted to my Rouelle and cannot believe people still use old fashioned stoves and kitchen utensils. If they don't use it, they definitely don't know how to use it. My husband is diabetic and by using Rouelle it helped a lot for his health and even my doctor agreed.

bad news

money wasted, used the recipe in the catalogue, it says that after 6 min you will have the perfectly cooked soft egg, well I can show you the perfectly raw egg. same with the toast, first time ever that I saw white bread toast that is perfectly white and hard after its toasted. and so i can go on, the bread and butter pudding recipe was tried as well, eventually we baked the pudding in the old faithful, the standard electric oven

Andre, I must answer on your comment. I have a Rouelle oven and had it for 7 years. In the beginning I struggled as well. I cook all my food now on 260 degrees and must say, the book tells you to boil an egg for 10 min and not 6 minutes. Check your settings. I will never exchange my Rouelle for any traditional stove EVER!! I just bought myself a second Rouelle for my holiday home in Winkelspruit.

yes Heletjie, you can make any stew in the oven. Make sure you use a pirex bowl or a pot without plastic handles. Put it on the lower rack and make the stew exactly like you would have on a normal stow. You could make your mash and rice the same way.
You also can use any recipe like you normally would on your stove or inyour over, just shorten your cooking time.

I bought an oven 7 years ago (Model AX-757D) when moving, so never noticed it had no instruction manual or recipe book with it.

I have never used it.
